Angie Nichols earned her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Motlow State Community College in Tullahoma, TN in 1994, and graduated with Honors with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University. Angie has received extensive training in the areas of health and wellness, nutrition and fitness, and preventive medicine. In 2015, Angie became a member of an elite group of practitioners certified in Advanced Bio Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, an honor few Registered Nurses have achieved.
Nichols is a proud member of the Tennessee Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association. Angie has served as an instructor for the American Red Cross and is a member of the Upper Cumberland Women's Business Club. She has written for and been awarded grants to promote health & wellness within schools.
Angie and her husband, Dr. Keith Nichols, reside in Byrdstown, TN. They not only share a love of medicine, but they also share 6 children, 3 dogs, and 3 cats. Angie is active with several local charities, and enjoys a maintaining a healthy & active lifestyle with her family. Her hobbies include painting, photography, shooting, and spending time on beautiful Dale Hollow Lake. She also enjoys hiking and exploring the many trails and natural wonders of the Upper Cumberland.
