He also was served with the Outstanding Tutor Award as he shared his passion of helping medical students learn anatomy.

Dr. Brian Huff is an orthopedic surgeon who is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is zealous about helping his patients maintain their mobility; whether that is maintaining independence, or returning to their desired sport. He enjoys treating patients of all ages.

 

Dr. Huff is originally from Ohio. He is a graduate of Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received the Distinguished Osteopathic Commitment Award, which demonstrates a strong commitment and leadership within the osteopathic community. He also was served with the Outstanding Tutor Award as he shared his passion of helping medical students learn anatomy. Dr. Huff completed his orthopedic surgery residency in Canton, Ohio. He then served the United States Air Force as a staff orthopedic surgeon at Langley Air Force Base. While on active duty status, he treated other active duty service members, retirees, and their family members. He was also a clinical instructor to the orthopedic surgery residents at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.

 

Key interests of Dr. Huff include hip and knee replacements due to arthritis, treating conditions of the shoulder (rotator cuff, instability, arthritis), injuries about the knee (ACL tears, meniscus tears, patella instability) and various other pathologies such as tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger,ankle sprains, fractures, etc. He enjoys integrating the latest technology emerging within orthopedics to give his patients the best possible outcome. In his personal time, he enjoys modifying his Jeep – the scratches and dents are from rock crawling and he’s proud of them. He also looks forward to getting on his road bike and going for long rides. As a former triathlete and college runner, he is dedicated to keep people moving. He ensures that his patients understand their condition, and all the options available for treatment.
