Dr. Dennison is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the treatment and diagnosis of injuries and conditions of the hip and knee including joint replacement and revision. He has specific expertise in a wide range of minimally invasive joint replacement techniques including direct anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement, robotic and computer assisted surgery. He has taught surgeons nationally on robotic assisted surgery, direct anterior hip replacement, and revision hip and knee techniques. In addition to primary joint replacement he performs a wide range of revision hip and knee replacement procedures.

After receiving his undergraduate degree in human biology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, Dr. Dennison went on to earn his medical degree in Rockford, Illinois, from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, after which he underwent additional specialty training through a year-long surgical and clinical fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at the Florida Orthopedic Institute in Tampa, Florida.
